How I Save $$ By Using English Soap Instead Of Regular Soap...

How I Save $$ By Using English Soap Instead Of Regular Soap...

Are you still spending $3.99 on the 2 pack of Dove at your local grocery store every other week? I hope not! If so, I’m here to change the game for you. Are you ready?

Let me introduce you to a little luxury and one of my best kept secrets “ English Soaps”. They are triple milled or what is called French milled. This means that during the soap making process which usually includes: oils, fats, and fragrances that the bar of soap is ran through the mill machine three times for a richer creamer soap. During this process the soap can actually be put through the machine more than three times to get the proper consistency but it’s important to not over mill, there is an art to it.

This method allows the soap to be properly mixed and any extra fragrances or ingredients to be added, while simultaneously taking out extra moisture and air. This also makes the soap last longer. English soaps have more natural and organic ingredients which are always better for your body. Regular soap that you buy in the grocery store is only milled once and usually, contains a lot of chemicals. You end up spending more money buying multiple bars of regular soap because they don’t last as long as one bar of English soap.

I personally buy 2 $3.99 bars of English soap per season. That’s how long they last! I take my usual weekend stroll through my local TJ Maxx or Marshall’s and choose what flavors and scents I want.  Fun Fact: I literally pick 8-10 soaps each time I go and have to check myself then narrow it down to 2-3; it’s a legit problem! I love them so much!

Have you tried English Soaps? Tell me how much you love them below!

XOXO,

KVT
