I went to Farmers & Distillers for Founders Day last year #ISkeeWee. I also happened to be on a cleanse so I was very limited to what I could actually eat. To my surprise I had a delicious plant based meal and didn’t feel deprived in the least bit.

My girl Courtnee set up this gathering so I knew a couple of the ladies coming but a few were new faces which is always fun. The staff was amazing. We needed to move tables because our party was too large for the one we were at and they were super accommodating.

There was a manager who was around our age ( mid- late 20’s) that took a liking to us. He was friendly, accommodating, and held great conversation. He really took care of us! I also think he attended an HBCU in the 757 (Southern Virginia) like myself so naturally we had a lot to talk about. Lol

We had a couple rounds of tea and  I had the most amazing pressed juice {On the house, since I was on a cleanse}. My plate was full of beautiful greens, veggies, and egg whites.  I admired their vast buffet and scrumptious looking baked good!! Who doesn’t love a doughnut?!? I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and my food. I can’t wait to go back and pig out!!

XOXO,

KVT
